Family owned since 1905, the Columbia Restaurant is Florida’s oldest restaurant and features a Spanish-Cuban menu at seven locations statewide, including the waterfront Columbia Cafe on Water Street in downtown Tampa. Columbia Cafe on The Tampa Riverwalk since 2009 offers a streamlined version of the Ybor City flagship’s most beloved dishes and beverages, with curbside takeout and catering available. The Columbia is an inductee in the Distinguished Restaurants of North America Hall of Fame and the Florida Trend Golden Spoon Hall of Fame. Wine Spectator awarded its Best of Award of Excellence every year since 2004 for the extensive collection, especially Spanish wines.
