Enjoy an evening of live music on Water Street! Our resident artist, Jamal Hasan, will be performing every Saturday throughout the month of April in front of Dwell & Company. Whether you’re strolling through the neighborhood, shopping, or dining at one of Water Street Tampa’s incredible restaurants, let the music set the tone for a perfect night out.

About the Artist

Jamal Hasan is a passionate alto saxophonist and pianist with a unique style. Grover Washington Jr., John Coltrane, John Legend, and Stevie Wonder are among some of his major influences.

Jamal Hasan over the years has developed his own brand of funk, jazz, and experimentation. Jamal has played with several bands including Jahson and the Natty Vibez, Jazzmatic, Gotta Dream, and Another Dimension, starting his professional career in the Carolinas.

Since moving to Florida, he has expanded his collaborations to include playing with Strangeways, Smoove Jamz, The Brainiacs, Carl NwClr Brown, and The Headtones. Known for his morning piano streaming sessions as well as being a resident musician for the Gulfport and Treasure Island Markets, Jamal has a genuine passion for performing.
