TAMPA, FL (February 20, 2019) – Strategic Property Partners, LLC (“SPP”), the Tampa-based real estate development firm, today unveiled the vision for 1010 Water Street, the latest residential offering to debut at Water Street Tampa, the transformative mixed-use project re-shaping downtown Tampa. With a focus on creating an environment that promotes opportunities for social interaction between residents, 1010 Water Street offers a curated collection of dynamic shared amenity spaces that have been thoughtfully designed to cater to residents seeking an active lifestyle.
Located in the center of Water Street Tampa at the southwest corner of the intersection of Water Street and Cumberland Avenue, 1010 Water Street will feature 481 residences ranging from studio to two-bedroom apartment homes. The homes, which will come in a variety of sizes and configurations, are being designed to appeal to more price-conscious consumers seeking an dynamic and social lifestyle in an amenitized neighborhood. The homes will be complemented by extensive communal amenity spaces, together creating a new housing option centered on shared social experiences.
“We are excited to introduce a truly unique opportunity to live in Water Street Tampa,” said James Nozar, CEO of SPP. “1010 Water Street will set a new standard of living within the Water Street Tampa neighborhood in terms of design and how we incorporate and encourage the use of residential amenities to live a fuller life. These shared spaces are not only an extension of the home, but a place for interaction and socialization, a forum for building community. We believe this innovative living experience combined with all of the conveniences and perks of living in the neighborhood will offer a much more well-rounded lifestyle—something relatively unique to the Tampa area.”
Reflecting Water Street Tampa’s vision to weave beautifully landscaped and highly amenitized spaces throughout the downtown neighborhood, 1010 Water Street offers a dynamic plan for the amenity spaces. Complete with an indoor-outdoor bar, individual outdoor kitchens, rooftop pool surrounded by enclosed cabanas, and rooftop lawn for recreation and programmed movies and sport-watching, the expertly-programmed rooftop terrace will provide resort-style amenities in the center of the city. Adjoining and overlooking the rooftop terrace will be an expansive fitness facility, various private party rooms, a movie room, and a co-working space with private conference rooms. Residents at 1010 Water Street will also enjoy 24-hour concierge service and 32,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, including a ground-floor lobby that will double as a coffee shop for the greater neighborhood.
1010 Water Street has been designed inside and out by renowned architecture firm Morris Adjmi Architects in partnership with Florida-based firm ODP Architects. The project is Adjmi’s first residential project in Tampa. The architect, known for his contextual designs, embraced Tampa’s environment and the local Water Street surroundings for the design of 1010 Water Street, which maximizes natural light into each home, celebrates access to the outdoors, and showcases beautiful industrial-inspired windows.
Surrounded by more than 13 acres of lushly-landscaped public green spaces as part of a masterplan designed by Reed Hilderbrand and Elkus Manfredi to promote health and wellness, sustainability, and comfortable access to the outdoors, 1010 Water Street will provide residents with convenient access to the city’s best cultural, dining, and entertainment options including the Tampa Riverwalk, Amalie Arena, Tampa Bay History Center, Florida Aquarium, and the recently opened Sparkman Wharf, an outdoor waterfront park and Tampa’s newest food hall. Additionally, a full-service, wellness-oriented grocery store is planned to open at 815 Water Street, a nearby residential building designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and Associates, in 2020.
